Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical-level cardiac care to a patient population ranging from young adults through geriatric patients in a 36-bed private room unit
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac interventions including cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implant
• Monitor and manage hemodynamically stable non-procedural cardiac patients
• Maintain safe patient ratios of 1:5-6 while delivering high-quality telemetry nursing care
• Adhere to all compliance and onboarding requirements, including completing core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) - must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
• Minimum 1.5 years of RN experience
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Candidates must not reside in the following counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience in telemetry or cardiac care settings
• Familiarity with post-procedural cardiac patient management
