Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: November 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 28-bed telemetry unit managing ED hold patients
- Maintain a 1:5 patient-to-nurse ratio in a fast-paced telemetry environment
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data and respond to changes in patient condition
- Perform phlebotomy as required on the unit
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for the state of Texas (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required
- Phlebotomy skills required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Recent hands-on experience with Meditech EMR
