Registered Nurses will be responsible for taking care of patients with a significant history of cardiac disease or related processes. The positions are intended to help stabilize staffing for the cardiovascular telemetry unit. These travelers will provide staffing support but may also be needed to precept new hires. The unit handles typical disease processes such as chest pain, congestive heart failure, advanced heart failure, and syncope. Patients requiring echocardiograms, stress tests, and diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations will also be treated. Additionally, the unit manages patients undergoing procedures like Mitraclip, Watchman, Tykosyn initiation, and TAVR. Flexible staffing may include caring for generalized medicine/surgery patients as needed. These positions require readiness to float to other areas as required.
