Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $2,772 per week in Baltimore, MD

Current experience with recovery of post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU setting. Experience with Ventilation, CRRT, Swan ganz catheters, epicardial wires/pacemakers, and vasoactive medications titration. Familiarity with Level 1 Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and ECMO. License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Critical Care Certification preferred. Trauma course preferred. EPIC experience preferred. Must-Have: Experience in a dedicated Open-Heart ICU. Ability to work in a fast-paced critical care environment. Description: The Cardiovascular Surgical ICU provides care for patients recovering from cardiac surgery. This includes patients recovering from cardiac transplantation, lung transplantation, and the placement of ventricular assist devices. The unit is equipped to handle complex procedures. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1 or 1:2.
