There will be an expectation to remain on-site during emergency events if assigned. Details regarding pay during emergencies will be provided as necessary. Weekend shifts will be expected every other week. Floating to other ICUs and Surgical Decision Units may be necessary. The patient ratio is 1:2 on this unit. The unit cares for a range of patients, including those recovering from cardiac and transplant surgeries. Additional experience with liver, kidney, or pancreas transplant recovery is preferred. High acuity ICU experience and LVAD/RVAD management is a plus. Candidates should possess ability to manage various critical care procedures and technologies.
