Job Opportunity – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 23, 2026
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, day shift 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Highlights:
- Work in a high-acuity Surgical Intensive Care Unit with diverse patient population

- Holiday rotation required (every other holiday minimum)
- Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
- Extension opportunities available up to 18 months
- Pre-start modules required with billable orientation time
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of permanent experience in SICU or critical care specialty
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS
- One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Background check and fingerprinting required (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- Clean license with no disciplinary actions
