Description:
3x12 Day SICU RN will work every other weekend.
Float as needed to other campuses.
Minimum 1 year of experience required.
ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
State license is required.
Experience with the Epic charting system is essential.
Type of facility is a short-term acute care hospital.
Staffed beds total 426.
This facility is a Level II Trauma Center.
Daily patient census is approximately 14.
Patient care will involve managing a variety of critical conditions.
Unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Candidate must complete modules pre-start and annually.
Floating to other units is part of the role.
Weekend coverage is required.
Two patients per nurse ratio in both day and night shifts.
1 reference required for consideration.
Return staff policy: Must be gone for 2 years to return.
Local candidates are not accepted—consideration is for candidates outside a specified distance from the facility.
Travel experience and preferred trauma level experience may be considered.
Pre-approved time off consists of a total of two requests.
