The candidate must be able to interpret arterial blood gases and manage dysrhythmias. Floating to a step down unit may be required based on facility needs. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. This position will have a patient ratio of 2:1 for days and nights. The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various specialties as needed. The expected daily census is 19 patients, with a total of 23 beds available. Candidates must hold certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
