Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $2,174 per week in Columbus, OH

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU (SICU/Oncology) – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Day/Night Rotating or Nights available. Shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period based on departmental needs. 2:1 patient ratio. 72-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Surgical ICU setting with diverse and complex patient population including stroke, sepsis, ARDS, and post-craniotomy patients
• Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Advanced critical care procedures including EVD management, ICP monitoring, CRRT, mechanical ventilation, and vasopressor titration
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 12-bed unit with daily census of approximately 11 patients
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; previous travel experience not required

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (must be current and consistent within the last 12 months)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
