Description: This position involves working in a busy Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The nurse-patient ratio varies from 1:2 to 1:3, depending on the acuity of patients. Floating to other ICUs in the facility may be required, and skill sets will be considered for assignments. Patient care techs may be present intermittently based on census. The nurse will need to read telemetry strips and utilize Phillips monitors. Holiday and weekend requirements will be dependent on unit coverage needs.
