Travel Nurse RN - Surgical Intensive Care Unit - $1,724 per week in Plano, TX

Advanced critical care procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions.

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Plano, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week guaranteed, every other weekend required. Call requirements and specific workdays to be discussed during interview.

• 13-week travel assignment in a busy ICU/CCU environment with 36-bed CCU and 30-bed Burn Trauma ICU
• 2:1 patient ratios ensuring quality patient care
• Collaborative unit staffing with supervisor on every shift and patient care technician support
• Meditech electronic medical record system
• Advanced critical care procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions
• Floating available as needed based on hospital requirements

Requirements:

• Active, unencumbered RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU specialty experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• TNCC, CCRN, or TCRN certifications preferred
