Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Stepdown/Telemetry RN – Virginia

Schedule: Rotating 4x12-hour shifts, days and nights; every other weekend required
Highlights:
- 13-week assignment with 24 hours of orientation
- Cardiovascular stepdown unit specializing in post-cardiac surgery patients transitioning from ICU
- 4:1 patient ratio across all shifts
- Epic charting system with accelerated or 2-day training provided based on experience
- 21-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams

Requirements:
- Active Virginia RN license or Compact license (must be active and in-hand at time of submission)
- BLS and ACLS certifications current
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Strong cardiac telemetry and stepdown experience required
- Demonstrated competency managing chest tubes and dysrhythmias
- Experience with cardiovascular stepdown patients and continuous cardiac monitoring
- Epic charting experience required; start date determined by level of Epic proficiency
- Prior experience with cardiac surgery patients, telemetry interpretation, central line management, and cardiac/vasoactive drip management
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered per CMS guidelines)
