**Exciting Opportunity for a PCU RN - Nights!**
**Job Description:**
- **Unit:** Stepdown
- **Shift:** 1900-0730
- **Experience Required:** Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional care in a dynamic stepdown unit
- Float between various units as needed
- Manage and assess a diverse patient population including:
- Surgical and medical patients of all types
- Neuro patients at times
- Utilize top medical equipment including:
- Bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps
- SCD's, BiPAPs, CPAPs, OptiFlows, Vapotherms, Airvos
**Skills and Certifications:**
- Required Certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS
- Vasoactive Drip Titration Proficiency:
- Neosynephrine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and others
- Line Management Skills Required:
- IV Insertion
- PICC/Central Line Management
- Vascular Device Access/Care
- Dialysis Fistula Care/Management
- A-Line Management
- Cardiac Skills Preferred:
- Obtain 12 Lead EKG
- Sheath Removal
- Cardioversion/Defibrillation
- Airway Management Required:
- CPAP/BiPAP and Trach Care
- Ortho/MS/Onc Responsibilities Required:
- Epidural/PCA pumps
- Feeding Tubes
- Wound Vac
