Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Birmingham, Alabama.
Job Description & Requirements

AL License or Compact License required
Position Details:
-BLS, ACLS required
-Previous travel experience required
-MINIMUM 3+ YEARS required
-Pulmonary experience required
-Vent experience required (long term vent weans)
-Unit: step down (pulmonary – need vent experience)
-Ratios: Acute 1:5/6, SD 1:3
-30 beds total
-RN are expected to care for COVID pts as needed and dictated by census
RNs will be assigned a home unit but may be asked to float. See below for details:
-Home Unit is: 6 South - Pulmonary

Floating expectation:
These unit-based travelers would be expected to float to like units (if necessary), in rotation with UAB unit specific staff. There is a potential that rotation can be changed to ensure that each unit has an ANM/Charge nurse (shift leader) that is familiar with UAB.
