Shifts: 12 hr days/nights, weekends as scheduled
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Stepdown for a travel assignment in Weirton, WV. This acute care environment offers a dynamic setting involving varied patient diagnoses such as cardiac concerns and post-procedures. As part of our team, you will provide high-level nursing care focusing on cardiovascular monitoring and treatment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown- Monitor cardiac patients and interpret telemetry data
- Administer and titrate medications including cardiac drips such as cardizem, amio, and nitro
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory and monitor technicians
- Perform patient care duties such as ADLs, vital signs, and blood sugar monitoring
- Use Cerner for charting and patient documentation
Requirements of the RN - Stepdown- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
- Proficient in cardiac monitoring and cardiac drips
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
- Active RN license
