RN – Medical Intermediate Care / Telemetry

Daly 6B

Unit Overview
Daly 6B is a 42-bed Medical Intermediate Care Unit divided between:

• 21 Medical-Telemetry beds
• 21 Intermediate Care / Step-Down beds

RNs are expected to work on both sides of the unit and must be comfortable caring for both telemetry and higher-acuity IMC patients.

Experience

• 1–2 years preferred
• Prior Telemetry / Step-Down / IMC experience strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS

Required Skills

• Tracheostomy care
• Ventilator patients
• High-flow nasal cannula
• BiPAP
• Cardiac drips
• Telemetry monitoring
• Intermediate/step-down level patient care

Floating
Floating to other appropriate units may occur based on facility needs.
