Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This role requires a nurse with expertise in Step-Down care to manage patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure and respiratory failure. Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN- Manage post-heart cath care and post-vascular procedure monitoring
- Conduct frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Administer emergency medications and procedural sedation
- Support BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube procedures
- Start and maintain IVs, manage PICC lines
Requirements of the Step-Down RN- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and resuscitation skills
- Experience with infection prevention and isolation protocols
