Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the 8E Vent and Stepdown Unit in Buffalo, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide specialized care within a dynamic hospital environment.
The Vent and Stepdown Unit provides comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring ventilator support and those transitioning from critical care settings to a lower acuity level. You will be instrumental in monitoring patient progress, managing complex medical equipment, and ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
This position involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and utilizing advanced clinical skills to support patient recovery and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Vent and Stepdown Unit or similar critical care environment.
- Proficiency with Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
