**Exciting Opportunity for RN Cardiac Med Intermediate - Nights!**
- Join a dynamic team in a Cardiac Stepdown unit with a focus on quality patient care.
- Work with a passionate group providing care to adult patients dealing with post-operative CABG/Valves, Thoracotomies, Respiratory Failure, and Chest Pain.
- Position Type: RN
- Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown
- Shift: Nights from 1900-0730
- Guaranteed Hours: Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 16 weeks
- Weekend Work: As required, generally every other weekend
- No call requirements
**Qualifications:**
- Current RN License eligible for Missouri
- Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
- Preferred Certification: NIHSS
- Must have at least 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience, inpatient only

**Unit Information:**
- 32 beds with patient ratios of 1:3-1:4
- Equipment includes chest tubes, temp pacemakers, and BiPAPs
- Use of EPIC EMR for patient documentation
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: All Black with Mercy Logo on top
- Unacceptable Attire: Hoodies, non-logo jackets, t-shirts, open-toed shoes, earbuds, and fake nails
**Working Environment:**
- Fast-paced, high-energy setting
- Physical demands include standing/walking, lifting and turning patients, and exposure to blood/body fluids
