Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays.

- First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience required

Requirements:- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of progressive care, stepdown, IMC, or DOU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Skills required: telemetry monitoring, IV management, central line care, PICC line management, port access, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, and non-invasive airway management
- Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing

Patient Population:- Adult patients
- Primary diagnoses include kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant patients, transplant rejection monitoring, hepatology conditions, GI bleeds, acute kidney injury, uncontrolled diabetes, and post-procedure recovery
- Special procedures include kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis
Additional Information:Candidates must be available to complete all compliance requirements by the Tuesday prior to the start date. Former employees of the health system are eligible after being away for 6 months or more. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
