Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays.

  • Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility

  • First-time travelers welcome; minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience required

Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care, stepdown, IMC, or DOU experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Skills required: telemetry monitoring, IV management, central line care, PICC line management, port access, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV insulin protocols, and non-invasive airway management
  • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
  • Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
  • Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately upon contract signing

  • Special procedures include kidney biopsy recovery and paracentesis
Additional Information:

Candidates must be available to complete all compliance requirements by the Tuesday prior to the start date. Former employees of the health system are eligible after being away for 6 months or more. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
