Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Float may be required to other units as needed.
Highlights:
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focused on surgical step-down patients including bariatric, colorectal, and general post-surgical overflow
- Patient ratio of 3-4:1 with all attempts to maintain 3:1 for optimal patient care
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
- Telemetry monitoring experience required; must pass facility telemetry competency test
- 24 hours of orientation provided to support successful onboarding
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of progressive care, step-down, or telemetry nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- Competency in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Skills required: IV therapy, central line and PICC management, blood product administration, titration of insulin drips, wound care, PCA pumps, and non-invasive airway management
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager or director)
