Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Float may be required to other units as needed.

Highlights:

  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focused on surgical step-down patients including bariatric, colorectal, and general post-surgical overflow
  • Patient ratio of 3-4:1 with all attempts to maintain 3:1 for optimal patient care
  • Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Telemetry monitoring experience required; must pass facility telemetry competency test
  • 24 hours of orientation provided to support successful onboarding

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of progressive care, step-down, or telemetry nursing experience
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Competency in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Skills required: IV therapy, central line and PICC management, blood product administration, titration of insulin drips, wound care, PCA pumps, and non-invasive airway management
  • Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager or director)
