Facility & Unit Overview
- Unit Specifics: 268-bed full-service hospital, Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. Patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 4:1 (may occasionally stretch to 5:1).
- Primary Patient Population: All telemetry / cardiac stepdown.
- EMR & Dress Code: Epic EMR charting; solid navy blue scrubs.
- Local Policy: Local candidates (within a 50-mile radius) are considered for only one 13-week contract. Permanent address must be submitted.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience required, with specific Tele/Cardiac experience required (recent travel work history highly preferred).
- Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) RN license verified via LARA and/or Nursys.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS required in hand.
- Profile Requirements: Skills checklist current to within 1 year pertinent to PCU, and 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
