Job Description:

- Join us for an exciting opportunity as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the night shift!
- Enjoy a fulfilling work schedule of 36 hours per week, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Experience the thrill of caring for cardiac step-down patients, including:
- Heart cath recovery
- Managing cardiac drips
- Post-operative open-heart patients
- Other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients
Key Responsibilities:
- Typically work every 3rd weekend and cover 1 holiday (subject to change based on census and staffing needs).
- Be adaptable and ready to float to other units during low volume or staffing crises (this isn’t common, but flexibility is key!).
- Although ventilator patients are not typical, you may need to provide care for them in rare cases — comfort in handling these situations is essential.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of cardiac step-down experience required.
- Current certifications in:
- BLS
- ACLS
- Proficient in Open-Heart care and Epic EMR experience is a must!
