**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical
- **Unit:** MS Stroke Stepdown Patients
- **Location:** Local (within 75 miles)
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum 2 years in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Stroke stepdown experience
- Documented travel experience
- **Certifications Needed:**
- Current AHA BLS
- NIHSS (Can be obtained prior to start)
- **Licensure Requirements:**
- Active NY RN License
- NURSYS report for license verification
- **Additional Requirements:**
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Current driver’s license with matching address
- Must include RTO at submission
- **Shift Information:**
- Schedule: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Floating required: Yes
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- **Unit Specifics:**
- Common Diagnoses: Stroke, altered mental status, renal issues, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation needs, general med/surg, pneumonia, pulmonary issues
- Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, N/G tubes, feeding tubes
- Patient Demographics: Adults
- Number of Beds in Unit: 64
