Travel Nurse RN - Stepdown - $1,969 per week in Morgantown, WV

Primary patient population is cardiac, including post-cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, plus general medical-surgical patients.

Job Opportunity – Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit RN – West Virginia

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Morgantown, West Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekdays with some weekends. Blocked schedules available (weekend blocks only: Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday). Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4, flexing to 1:5 in emergencies.

• Primary patient population is cardiac, including post-cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology procedures, plus general medical-surgical patients
• Cerner EMR system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 36-bed unit with 8-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active West Virginia or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; 1 year Med-Surg/Telemetry and 2 years Stepdown experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ability to read cardiac strips
• Experience with Cerner charting system required
• Minimum of 2 manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility
• Professional attire: burgundy and/or white scrubs (not provided)
