Support the health, safety, and academic success of all students. Provide leadership for school health services. Deliver nursing care and manage student health needs. Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers. Ensure compliance with district policies and professional nursing standards. Provide comprehensive school nursing services, including assessment, intervention, follow-up, and referral. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policy. Maintain accurate documentation. Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Health Care Plans. Create Emergency Action Plans. Address health-related components of IEPs and 504 Plans. Assess and manage students with chronic health conditions and disabilities. Provide care for acute illness or injury. Serve as the primary health resource for the school community. Consult with administrators, teachers, and special education teams.
