Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: School Nursing Duration: Full-Time Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7 Experience: Relevant experience required License: Licensed Registered Nurse Certifications: CPR Certification, Paraprofessional or Substitute Approval Must-Have: - Licensed Registered Nurse - CPR Certification - Paraprofessional or Substitute Approval Description: Will work with students with unique medical needs that require a higher level of medical knowledge. Will perform medical procedures not normally provided by the regular teacher assistant. Will help maintain students in the least restrictive environment. Will act as an active member of the educational team in providing services to students. Will work under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse assigned to the student's program. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this role are representative of what is required to perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these duties. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 4-6 hours per day.
