The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, including titrating drips, utilizing Epic Electronic Medical Record system, and working within a 3:1 or 6:1 patient ratio depending on the patient type.

Job Details

  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: BLS (AHA); minimum experience required: 1 year(s).
  • Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The unit serves both floor and step-down patients, with care protocols including titration of drips such as Heparin, insulin, and anti-hypertensives. The role involves floating to other units as needed, working with remote Phillips telemetry monitoring equipment, and participating in unit-specific orientation. The position requires flexibility for weekend and holiday work, with no call or standby obligations. The charge nurse will typically undertake a role assignment, and nurse aides (Clinical Associates) assist on the unit at ratios of 1:10.
