Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to primarily adult patients in an inpatient spinal/general rehabilitation setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while demonstrating clinical competence and effective patient care management.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions and patient outcomes.
  • Provide safe, compassionate care to primarily adult inpatient patients.
  • Demonstrate clinical competence in the care and management of the assigned patient population.
  • Apply nursing theory and professional nursing practices in daily patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin RN license or a valid multistate nursing license from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification or approved equivalent.
  • Clinical competence and experience in patient care management.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing theory and nursing practice.
  • English proficiency: speaking, reading, and writing.

Required Certifications/Licensure

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • BLS Certification
  • Multistate Nursing License, if applicable
