Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Rehab

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in an Acute Rehabilitation setting. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, with a focus on helping them regain their independence and functionality.

Shift and Schedule

  • Shift: Night 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Weekend Requirement: Two weekend days for day shifts.
  • Rotation: Open to accommodating a block schedule (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday).

Patient Ratios

  • Patient care ratio of 1:7.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.
  • Local candidates are not accepted.
  • Pending licenses are not accepted.
  • Time off restrictions apply; no holidays off are allowed.

Additional Information

This role involves floating to MedSurg only if the census is low at the rehab facility and additional support is needed. The primary focus will remain in the Acute Rehab unit.
