Job Summary
A Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Nurse (RN) position is available at our organizations rehabilitation hospital located in Chesterfield, MO. The role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services to adult patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. The focus is on team-based, individualized patient care to improve functional ability and quality of life.
Job Details

- Position Type: RN Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB)
- Schedule: Nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: RN licensed in State of MO, BLS (CPR) Certification; 0 years of experience required
- Float: Float rotation may be required within units in the hospital (Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury)
- Additional Information:
- The unit primarily cares for adult patients aged 18 and older, with an approximate patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6/7 during the day and 1:8 at night.
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients, collaborating with physicians and specialists, and working with therapy staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- The nurse is required to wear black scrubs and an ID badge provided by the agency.
- Reporting time is 6:30 PM with parking available in the garage.
