JD Summary
Position: RN – Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3×12 nights
Weekend: Every other weekend
Contract: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Beds: 29
Daily Census: ~20
First-time travelers: Accepted
Locals: Accepted at the same rate
Must-Haves
- 2+ years RN experience
- BLS required
- Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at submission
- Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
- Must be willing to float to other OSU units
- 2 professional references required
- At least 1 must be a manager/director/formal leader
- Charge RN acceptable for the second
- No coworker references

- Fall/pressure-ulcer prevention
Certifications listed: BLS, ACLS*, CPI*

Unit
- Stroke & general rehabilitation
- Transplant, burn and oncology overflow
- 3 high-acuity rehab beds with telemetry
- Lift equipment in every room
- Stand-assist machines
- Support from PT, RT, IV team, pharmacy, social services, radiology, etc.
