Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor RN Brownsboro, KY. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult patients recovering from severe injuries and illnesses, including stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The RN will work in a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS and active RN license
- Education Requirements: RN - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum
- Location: Brownsboro, KY
- Years of Experience: 1-2 years required
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care tailored to individuals recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries.
- Utilize skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to support recovery goals.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety protocols.
- Scrub color: Royal blue scrubs.
- Report to Christina Stiwinter upon arrival.
- Parking instructions: Park on the outer perimeter of the building; avoid front spaces designated for patients and families.
