TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rehab RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required 1 year of in-specialty experience required License: WV or Compact RN License required Certifications: BLS certification required (must be AHA) Acute care rehab certification preferred Must-Have: Charge experience preferred Every other weekend availability required Description: This is a medical rehabilitation nursing position working with a team to provide care for patients recovering from conditions such as cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, amputations, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diseases. The unit has 24 beds and each patient is assigned a care team that may include a physiatrist, nurse practitioner, nurse, and therapists. The care team collaborates to create individualized patient care plans. Patients receive therapy for approximately 3 hours a day, Monday through Friday. The average length of stay is around 2 weeks. The nurse-to-patient ratio is approximately 1:5 to 1:6 on nights. Open to accommodating block schedule requests, which can be discussed during the interview process. Float requirements exist to meet facility needs. Candidate should possess knowledge of acute inpatient rehabilitation practices and procedures. The position involves a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care, engaging various support services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and social work. A flu vaccine is required, with exceptions for documented medical reasons. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
