Description:
This position involves caring for patients who require rehabilitation services.
The nurse will provide care to patients who have been discharged but need continued therapy for 1 or more weeks.
Patient types may include post-surgical patients, stroke care, patients with congestive heart failure, and others requiring prolonged physical therapy.
The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5 during nights.
Collaboration with physical therapy and care management teams is essential for patient discharge planning.
Responsibilities include daily care activities, IV management, and lab draws; this is a non-telemetry unit.
The candidate must be self-motivated and able to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and receptiveness to feedback are critical.
Candidates should be engaged team players, comfortable working with diverse patients and caregivers.
Concurrent on-the-job training and support will be provided to enhance skills in providing high-quality patient care.
The unit emphasizes teamwork to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
