Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required License: RN State License and/or Compact State Licensure Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Preferred Must-Have: - Ability to pass Basic EKG exam with 80% or higher (2 attempts allowed) - Telemetry test completion prior to starting Description: The nurse will provide care for patients requiring physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Patients may include post-surgical, post-stroke, and those needing prolonged physical therapy. Expect a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 during the night shift. Daily care activities include IV management and lab draws. This is a non-telemetry unit. Collaboration with the physical therapy team and care management team is essential for discharge planning. The department values team-based care and high-quality patient-centered practices. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Engagement in feedback and collaboration is important. Consistent attendance is key as the unit is expanding, creating additional staffing needs.
