# Job Opportunity – Inpatient Rehabilitation Nurse – Virginia

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Salem, Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend rotation, 5-7:1 patient ratio

Highlights:
  • 35-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit focused on functional recovery and patient independence
  • Comprehensive scope of practice including IV medication administration, PICC line care, trach care, tube feeding, bladder irrigation, and blood administration
  • Meditech electronic documentation system
  • Tech support available based on census, typically 2-4 techs per shift with unit secretary support
  • Standard equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, bladder scanners, SCD devices, and vitals machines
  • Professional dress code of navy blue or white solid scrubs
Requirements:
  • Active Virginia RN license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Rehabilitation nursing experience required
  • Medical-Surgical experience preferred
