Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within a 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting serving patients 16 years and older
  • Support recovery for patients experiencing stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
  • Deliver individualized, intensive rehabilitation care tailored to each patient's needs throughout their recovery journey
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:7 while ensuring high-quality, safe care during night shift hours
  • Document patient care and progress using the Pinpoint EHR system
  • Coordinate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to support comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
  • Projected start date: August 31, 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior experience in a rehabilitation nursing setting
  • Familiarity with common rehab diagnoses including stroke, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions
  • Experience with Pinpoint or similar EHR platforms
