Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of an interdisciplinary care team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Provide and manage direct patient care with a ratio of 1:8
  • Document patient care and clinical information using the EPIC EMR system
  • May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
  • Expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day), with limited time-off requests during designated holiday windows
Required Qualifications
  • Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
  • Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
  • Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
  • Active PALS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
  • Mandatory Reporter certification required
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Minimum of 1 year of Rehabilitation (Inpatient) experience required
  • Medical-Surgical experience required
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on Driver's License address to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
  • Experience working in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
