Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Valid nursing license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Rehab or Acute Care Experience Description: Registered Nurse for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The facility has a total of 59 beds, with 11 beds located in a secured neuro unit. The patient population includes individuals recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, post-orthopedic surgeries, and motor vehicle accidents. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 or 1:7. The shift hours are from 1900 to 0730 with a requirement to work every other weekend. The hospital is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the effects of severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized and intensive rehabilitation is tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The hospital strives to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.
