Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 30-bed (two 15-bed) unit
Utilize gait belts, patient alarms, and patient lifts in daily patient care activities
Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
Collaborate with PCTs and unit support staff, available when census reaches 9 or above
Rotate weekends as part of the standard scheduling requirement
Float to other units per agency floating policy when needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, with med/surg experience required
BLS certification required
Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week with rotating weekends
