Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients on a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
Perform wound care and assist with patient transfers in accordance with unit protocols
Collaborate with a team of charge nurses, RNs, and PCTs across both day and night shifts
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Float between two campus locations as needed to support staffing needs
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure (or compact equivalent) valid in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of current acute care experience as a Rehab or Medical/Surgical RN
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Willingness to float between two campus locations
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working with a rehabilitation patient population
IV placement and blood draw skills
Flexible, compassionate approach with strong patient advocacy
