Description: An inpatient acute rehabilitation facility is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. This facility is dedicated to helping individuals regain their independence following an injury or illness. The rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to patients' specific needs. Programs focus on recovery from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The neurological rehabilitation program is designed for patients with brain, spinal cord, or nerve injuries. Patients may experience difficulties with movement, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or learning. A comprehensive rehabilitation approach is offered for those with spinal cord injuries, focusing on physical, emotional, and psychological abilities. For brain injuries, specialized therapists provide consistent and structured rehabilitation addressing physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues. A multidisciplinary team aids individuals recovering from strokes to regain function from the physical and psychological effects. The amputation program involves a team with specialized training providing effective care to restore strength, confidence, and mobility. The orthopedic program prepares patients for transitions back home and into the community, with objectives tailored to individual needs.
