Key Responsibilities- Perform first assist duties in the operating room within an 8-bed surgical unit
- Provide scrub and circulate coverage as required throughout the assignment
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative patient care
- Adhere to facility dress code; facility-provided scrubs are supplied
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as scheduled; call-back, holiday, and overtime coverage may be required
Required Qualifications- Active Massachusetts RN license
- CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) - required; certifications must be active at time of submission
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association - required
- Minimum 2 years of current First Assist Operating Room experience
- Demonstrated scrub and circulate proficiency
- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Must have personal reliable transportation
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health records system
- Strong familiarity with perioperative workflows in a teaching hospital environment
