Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) across a variety of surgical specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology
• Participate in an on-call rotation, with an estimated 8 on-call days per 6-week schedule; call is split evenly across RNFAs
• Cover kidney call rotation Monday through Friday (18:00-06:00) and Saturday through Sunday on a 24-hour basis (06:00-06:00)
• Cover general call rotation Saturday and Sunday (07:00-17:00) and holiday general call rotation (07:00-17:00); no kidney call on holidays
• Perform both scrub and circulating duties as required during surgical procedures
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities as needed during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of scrub and circulating experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of RNFA experience required
• Proficiency in robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgical specialties
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates; candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a lower rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Background in high-acuity or high-volume surgical environments
• Familiarity with kidney/transplant surgical call protocols
