    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – First Assist / RNFA

    Location

    Orange, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | 4x10 or 3x12 shifts available (shift hours approximately 12:30–20:00)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) across a broad range of surgical specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology
    • Perform both scrub and circulating roles as required throughout the assignment
    • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency in the operating room
    • May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility as needed
    • Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of the assignment
    • Commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 3 years of scrub and circulating experience required
    • Minimum of 1 year of overall relevant experience required
    • Proficiency in robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology surgical procedures
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (may include Charge RNs or Leads)
    • Must live within 50 miles of the facility to be considered; locals are accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume surgical environment with diverse case types
    • Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical platforms
    • Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and willingness to support holiday coverage
