Key Responsibilities
Work directly alongside the lead surgeon in the operating room throughout surgical procedures
Manage patient care during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
Control bleeding, retract and hold tissue, and perform wound closure as directed by the surgeon
Contribute to the efficiency and safety of surgical operations
Apply advanced perioperative nursing skills to support optimal patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
Minimum of 2 years of RNFA experience (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working with Cerner EMR
Background in a tertiary or teaching hospital environment
