    Registered Nurse – First Assist / RNFA

    Contract | Days (3x12 Hours, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform first assist duties in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgical procedures
    • Float within scope of practice to the main OR and other areas as departmental needs require
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including one call day per week and approximately one call weekend every four weeks
    • Maintain compliance with all onboarding, orientation, and credentialing requirements within established deadlines
    • Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during the onboarding period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse First Assist
    • Demonstrated experience in cardiac, vascular, endovascular, or thoracic surgical settings
    • Active CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA certification (hard requirement)
    • Ability to complete a privileging/credentialing process prior to start (approximate timeline: 3–4 months from contract signature)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting
    • Familiarity with bi-weekly hospital orientation schedules and compliance-driven onboarding processes
