Description:
RNFA needed for day shifts in Surgery Recovery Unit.
Functions as a perioperative team member.
Uses information from various sources to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the results of patient care.
Works under the direct supervision of the surgeon.
Functions within the full scope of licensure.
Accountable for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care.
Provides direct patient care, education, and transitions of care.
Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in the assigned area.
Develops and manages an optimal interdisciplinary plan of care.
Incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, families, support groups, and healthcare providers.
Communicates effectively and in a timely manner.
Adheres to policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws.
Promotes a quality, reliable patient experience.
Engages in continuous growth and development in professional nursing practice.
Skilled in a variety of procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, and general surgeries.
Must have experience with specific surgical procedures and techniques.
Patient care encompasses diverse age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
Works in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.
Routine patient ratios are maintained at 1:1.
