**Exciting Opportunity for an Endovascular Operating Room RN First Assistant!**
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** RNFA in the Endovascular Operating Room
- **Location:** 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128
- **Shift:** Days, 4x10 hours (0645-1715)
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Assignment Length:** 13 weeks
- **Call Requirements:** Call 24 hrs per day on weekends
**Requirements:**
- **Licensure:** Current RN License in Missouri
- **Certifications:** BLS and ACLS from AHA (Required)
- **Experience:** At least 1 year in Endovascular OR as an RNFA (Required)
- **Preferred Certifications:** CNOR
**Role Responsibilities:**
- Circulate and/or scrub during procedures in the Endovascular OR
- Provide direct patient care for all age groups:
- Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Collaborate with RNs to create and implement nursing care plans
**Endovascular Expertise:**
- Anticipate tissue locations and assess physiological impacts
- Plan for wound closure and special postoperative needs
- Ensure aseptic techniques and infection control measures
**Professional Development:**
- Keep current on practices and techniques in the surgical field
- Serve as a resource to other perioperative staff members
